If I had loads of money, I'd build this room for chilling, listening to music and reading.

I used mainly Final Gather to light both scenes, with some conventional maya lights thrown in. The reflections were done using the mentalray mia material. Whenever I do personal work, I tend to vary my lighting method, just to experiment and see what kind of results I can achieve.

Modelling, lighting and rendering was done in Maya and mentalray, with texturing and comping was done in Photoshop
